The Mission of the Goshen Animal Welfare League is to provide the community with information, guidance, programs, and resources regarding responsible pet ownership and animal welfare;
including referral resources for pet owners concerned with animal behavior and problem resolution
Our Goals are
- Promote public awareness of proper and appropriate care for all animals, including the prevention of cruel, neglectful or inhumane treatment.
- Provide humane information/education to all grade levels.
- Campaign for tougher penalties regarding animal cruelty and neglect.
- Create a community spay/neuter program
- Have an active Trap/Neuter/Release program
- Institute an animal Meals-On-Wheels program for our homebound senior citizens who have companion animals
